Your appointments

How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by filling out our online appointment request form or by calling/texting us directly at 07944 249570. A team member will assist you in arranging your first visit.

If you complete the form, we will contact you to offer appointment times based on your availability. If you prefer to call/text, we can provide immediate information about available appointment slots.
How many appointments will I need?
The number of appointments varies based on your specific needs and will be determined by your physiotherapist after a comprehensive initial assessment. For your convenience, we offer a 10% discount on block bookings of 5 follow-up appointments.
What can I expect during my initial assessment?
During your initial assessment, your physiotherapist will begin by discussing your medical history and current concerns to gain a clear understanding of your condition. This will be followed by a comprehensive physical examination to accurately diagnose the issue and identify the potential causes.

Based on the assessment, your therapist will explain the likely reasons behind your injury or condition, as well as what to expect from physiotherapy. You will receive immediate treatment as needed, along with personalized exercises to perform at home to support your recovery.

Additionally, your therapist will provide an estimate of how long it may take for your condition to improve and outline the number of sessions required to achieve full recovery within a realistic time frame.
What should I prepare before my first appointment?
Please ensure that there is a safe and clear space for the treatment. You should also be dressed appropriately for the area being treated. If you have any medical scans, reports (X-ray, CT, MRI), or discharge notes related to your condition, have them ready to share with your therapist.
What should I wear for my physiotherapy session?
It’s best to wear light, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. This helps your physiotherapist assess and treat the affected region more effectively.
Will my physiotherapist provide a plan of care?
A Plan of Care is a personalized treatment roadmap designed to guide both you and your physiotherapist toward your recovery. It begins with an assessment of your current condition and works towards achieving your desired outcome.
Will my therapist develop a training program for me?
Yes, your physiotherapist may create a tailored training program based on your specific condition and Plan of Care.

Typically, this program will be delivered through the Physitrack app, which you can access on your mobile device or computer.

If you don’t have access to a mobile phone or computer, please let us know, and we will be happy to send you a paper copy of your exercise program at no additional cost.
What if my condition needs further investigation?
If your condition requires additional evaluation, we work closely with a network of GPs, consultants, and other healthcare specialists. Your physiotherapist can refer you to the most suitable expert for further assessment. Our priority is to ensure you receive the most effective and timely treatment to support your recovery journey.

Payments

How do I pay for my appointments?
You can choose to pay via bank transfer or make a contactless payment in person using our contactless device, which accepts all major debit and credit cards, including American Express. Cash and cheque payments are also accepted. Payment for all appointments is required within 7 days of your visit.

A weekly or monthly invoice will be provided for your records.
Will I need to pay for parking for my therapist?
No, you won’t have to pay for parking; Physier takes care of those expenses. To help us prepare for your first visit, we would appreciate it if you could share details about the parking situation in your area. This includes whether you have a dedicated parking space, if there are parking meters nearby, or if street parking is available.
Can I use my health insurance to cover my appointments?
No, we do not work with health insurance providers.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy to ensure we can accommodate all our clients due to high demand. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

Scheduling your appointment

Are your physiotherapists experienced, registered, and insured?
Yes, all our physiotherapists have extensive clinical experience in both the NHS and private sectors. They are registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), ensuring they meet the highest professional standards. You can verify their registration through the HCPC register and learn more about CSP membership here.

In addition, all our therapists are fully insured, DBS checked (Enhanced Disclosure and Barring), and complete mandatory training, including infection control, manual handling, and fire safety, so you can feel confident and safe when receiving care in your home.
Will I always have the same physiotherapist for my appointments?
While we strive to provide the same therapist for each visit, it may not always be possible. However, our team holds thorough case discussions to ensure seamless continuity of care. Any new physiotherapist will already have a full understanding of your case, so you won’t need to repeat your history or concerns.
I am not satisfied with the treatment I received. How can I express my concerns?
We are dedicated to providing high-quality service to all our clients. If you have any concerns or wish to make a complaint, please out the form on our Contact us page. Your feedback is important to us, and we are here to address any issues you may have.
